1 ZZOOM.......John Gibson's game from IMAGINE certainly doesn't lack action. With you in your Ground Skimmer against the combined might of an enemy army, navy and air force.# There is little time for strategy or concern for the fate of the hundreds of refugees who get caught from both sides. Your aim may be to protect these victims but they invariably end up as your cannon fodder.# You are confronted with enemies ranging from bombers to submarines, all carrying deadly 'exotron' missiles. The graphics are superb, with even the drifting clouds exhibiting parallax.# ZZOOM is an excellent piece of programming and very playable. Only the ethics are questionable. x

1 ANT ATTACK......Sandy White's game from QUICKSILVER is probably the first non sexist, all action computer game. You simply choose your gender and become the hero!# You then enter one of the most impressive and deadly cities that I have ever seen on a micro.# YOUR TASK.....to search for your missing partner and lead her/him to safety.# YOUR PROBLEM........hoardes of revolting, giant ANTS.# YOUR CHANCES.........are very slim.# When I first saw the city I was impressed.# When I started to move about I was very impressed.# When I found that I could switch instantly between 4 viewpoints my jaw dropped.# A highly recommended, polished piece of software. Don't play it just before bed.(Cert P.G.!) :
